One of the things about milk & honey in the Bible is that it represents provision. I sincerely believe that God wants to provide for us, but many times, we don’t allow Him to. He wants to give us the provision of our day-to-day, through the ebbs and flows of life that can bring grief, uncertainty, pain, worry, and so much more. 

There is a reason why God had to send Jesus to the cross to suffer and live in human form to show us what a life lived out for the work of the Gospel looks like. To be the hands and feet that serve and meet needs. To attend to the lost sheep. To glorify a good Father in Heaven.
